1988 Youth Two Touch League Western Conference 1-7-0
Team notes: Played one season of Two Touch in 1988. They were a group of friends who got
together and formed a team. They did not have a formal coach, but managed to pick up plays from
local senior sides like the
Weston Stars. They won their first friendly, against the Yeovil
Harriers Youth, 24-6 in a contact game without kit. They completed their league season, even
though they went to Cardiff Celts with just 11 players and lost 70-0. They picked up some
players mid-season from the Frome Katanas and won their last ever
game against the Hereford Chargers 41-0 at Crispin School playing fields.
