Team Notes: The Bolton Bulldogs were formed in 2006 for the teenagers of Bolton and the surrounding areas to learn the sports of American Football and Cheerleading. The club represents the town in the British American Football League (BAFL) playing games in the spring and summer nationally after winter training. Players play for the right to become National champions in one of two teams, the Varsity team for 16 -19 year olds and the new Junior Varsity team for those aged 13 - 16. There is also flag football, a non contact simple format for those that do not want to play full contact. Coached by Jim Blinkhorn.
